FAQ

1) How long does it take to process my order?

If you order before 4pm on a week day (Monday - Friday) and we have your order item(s) in stock, it is almost guaranteed that we will process your order that same day. Our UK courier (usually APC) collects somewhere between 1pm and 3pm, so UK courier orders received after this time will be collected the next business day.
If you have a really urgent need for something, then please contact us prior to placing an order, and we'll do all we can to help you out.

2) What UK based delivery services do you use, and how long should I expect delivery to take?

    UK STANDARD
For standard UK delivery we usually use Royal Mail. It is uninsured, but we've found it to be extremely reliable and is by far the most cost effective way to ship parcels (when less than 1Kg in weight). For stock items we always ship within 24 hrs, which means you will receive your parcel within 1-4 days. Occasionally we've had parcels get delayed for a bit longer than this, but it is extremely rare.
If a parcel does go missing we can help you submit a claim to Royal Mail, but must stress that this delivery service is not insured beyond the £20 compensation that Royal Mail offers. In the extremely unlikely event of a parcel going missing, the onus is on you to make a claim with Royal Mail.

    UK COURIER DELIVERY
For UK special delivery we use an insured, nextday courier service. For courier delivery we nearly always use FedEx or APC Overnight. We've found them both to be extremely efficient, with the added security of insurance.

3) What European delivery services do you use, and how long does it take?

    EUROPEAN STANDARD
For standard European shipping we use Royal Mail's standard Airmail service. This is by far the most cost effective way to get parcels sent within Europe, and costs much less than a courier service. However, the time it takes to deliver does vary a lot. Some countries take longer than others, and delivery times do seem to change significantly from week to week.
As a very general rule, deliveries within Europe take on average about 10-12 days. However, we have in the past seen parcels take over 4 weeks. This service is uninsured.
We get frequent emails from European customers asking where their parcel is. It's impossible to say how long a delivery is going to take, and we are given no tracking number when we send these parcels out. If you are placing an order and really need your delivery within 3 weeks or so, we'd strongly advise that you select the European special delivery option, and pay the extra for a faster, insured service.

    EUROPEAN COURIER
For European courier delivery we generally use Parcel Force, FedEx, but also use a number of other courier companies. Shipping time is usually about 5 days, but can very occasionally be over a week. This service is tracked and insured.

4) how much will shipping cost?

Our website calculates shipping costs based on product weight. To find out how much it will cost to ship your order, please add the item(s) you're interested in buying to the basket. Then when viewing the basket, use the "Estimate Delivery" drop-down box to select the country you're shipping to.
This will give you shipping prices for all delivery methods we are able to offer.

For heavy and/or bulky items, it is extremely difficult for the website to accurately calculate shipping costs. In this case please email us with the item(s) you're interested in buying, and the address or zip code & country you need the order shipped to. We can then get quotes from couriers or the post office, and email you back with this information.

5) Are you interested in stocking my products?

We are always on the look out for new products to add to the range. Please get in touch and we'll discuss it.

6) Can I cancel an order?

If you need to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible. Call or email, details are on the 'Contact Us' page.

7) Do your prices include VAT, are you VAT registered?

We are VAT registered, and our registration number is 134 9210 30. Our prices include VAT where applicable.

8) do you ship to my country?

Yes, wherever you live in the world, we can and will ship to you. There are some limitations to the shipping options we are able to offer (for example, we have yet to find a courier that will ship to Brazil), but there will always be at least one option.
To calculate how much shipping will cost to your country, please add the item(s) you're interested in buying to the shopping basket, and use the 'Estimate Delivery' drop down menu (found on the shopping basket screen) to choose the country you're shipping to.
The 'Select Delivery' drop down menu will then give you options and associated costs for shipping this order.

9) the item i want is out of stock, can you let me know when it's available?

We have an automated system which will email you as soon as we get new stock. Just find the item you want on our website (use the drop down menu to select the product variant if applicable) and click the 'Notify me when this item in available' button. Enter your name and email address, and you'll get an email the moment we get more stock in.
