A great product, ideal for lifting the K1300R up for cleaning and maintenance, better than having to carry a main stand around all the time! Just be carefull the first couple of times you use it to ensure both lugs are connected.

Product delivery was exceptional. To prepare for use, I unfastened the tail end of the belly fairing panels, fitted the bobbin units and re-assembled. Then it's just a case of marking out and cutting two slots in the belly section for the support legs. No more than 30 minutes work in total. In use, the stand is easily offered up to the bike and engaged on the bobbins. Raising the bike off the side stand is just like using a centre stand - a safe one person job. On flat ground, the rear wheel is 1inch/25mm or so clear and the front wheel can even be turned with a tug on the lower spokes. The stand is easy to use and dead stable - and it takes up very little space in the garage. Good for winter storage too to keep weight off the suspension & tyres.
Tip: when you've got the fairing loose, give the bottom fasteners a good dose of ACF-150 or Waxoyl etc. to stop them corroding.
